Of course he had to find out how skilled she was and man oh man did he ever😛😉. When Gabriel first meets Empress he’s a bit annoyed but the attraction is strong and in a quick turnaround hires her as a masseuse. I loved getting to know Garbriel another proctetor of The Governor Hotel and Empress a sexy, sassy women on the run😘😘😘. London would knock it out the park with Peaches and Cream👏🏽😊👏🏽. Yasss what a way to kick off another season 5 of the LTC🙌🏽. If this first book of Lunchtime Chronicles Season 5 is any indication of the remainder of the series, I can't wait to read the others! If you've like IR romance with a bit of suspense and fiercely loving heroes with shaky pasts, or you've enjoyed any of the previous books about the occupants of the Governor (or the DeLuca Family), then this one should definitely go to the top of the list. It's a sexy, sometimes funny and suspenseful adventure from that first meeting that only gets better as the book progresses. Gabriel can tell she's running from something and while attracted to her, he has to be sure she's not trouble to the Governor. Empress' only priority is protecting her son from his cruel and violent father and keeping herself and the sister that's helped her since her escape from the man who's been chasing her since her escape. Gabriel manages the Governor and his job includes sizing up all who enter and eliminating threats to the hotel and it's occupants. She's escaped from a horrible experience as the unwilling captive of a truly horrible Mafioso.

And the men - especially those of the Governor Hotel are the kind of grown and sexy that make real women drool as they handle their business - and their women too!Įmpress and Gabriel have a rocky start. This was my favorite book of the series, which pretty ironic as I've said that about each subsequent book! One of the things I enjoy and Siera London books is that her characters tend to be grown, savvy women, not the barely out of their teens little girls we find in far too many romance books. Each of these men are also killers affiliated with the DeLuca Mafia family. Peaches and Cream is the 4th book in the series about the men of the Governor Hotel, all fierce protectors of both the hotel and their women.
